Capturing Life One Shot At A Time

I wish you were tiny. You’d be pocket-sized, then i’ll bring you everywhere I go. :)

I am a happy girl! I received an unexpected bouquet of flowers the other day! Thank you. :)

This is also you when I scratch your tummy! :))

A dumpsite for my cluttered thoughts. :): April 3, 2012

Been feeling a bit clammy at home; I haven’t really done much this summer yet. I’ve been locked up in this cave I call my room doing nonsensical, unproductive stuff. So today, I decided to accompany my mom to run some errands.

It was a mother-daughter date day!

We went to the bank.

Guess who visited me yesterday. :>

I was his first IV extraction “patient” and it was successful! He hesitated at first, in fear of hurting me, but I wasn’t worried whatsoever. He has my complete trust. :)  We even have a whole 9 minute video of this “procedure.” HAHA.

Backtrack

If you guys haven’t noticed, there’s an influx of reblogged posts from my first tumblr account, speckinthesky. I made this new account flickeringmemories solely for my own orignal posts. I try my best to use my own photos, even. I think it would be a great way to practice my photography. :)  And just because a hit of Nostalgia took over me this afternoon, I’ve decided to pile all my blog posts into one account for easier reference. As a result, there is now a flood of old blog posts.

It’s actually kind of interesting to read a portion of my “former self.” Much of these posts were written, at the earliest, 2 years ago and most of the entries were made months apart (Too bad the publishing date doesn’t show up). In a way, reading through my old blog reveals a different side of me with each entry. Some were made back in highschool and freshman year in college. I could even notice the change in writing style and as I read through them now, I spot a few grammatical errors but I wouldn’t dare change it, it ruins its essence. (But hopefully there has been an improvement in my writing through the years. :P)

Some of these posts were written in my darkest and saddest times, heartaches and pain when all I had was my blog to keep me company. On the contrary, I’ve recorded my happiest and joyous moments with posts usually combined with a photo with beaming smiles and friends. My blog was like a friend I would eagerly tell my stories about.

And although I really am not much of a blogger/writer/photographer, my blog has been with me through my lowest and highest points. I might not have been faithful by keeping track of each momentous point in my life, but I knew I must’ve wrote about it for a reason. :)
